Why Become A Member

In March 1962, visionary women of Lake Mary, FL, met to form the Lake Mary Woman’s Club to improve their town. By joining the International General Federation of Women’s Clubs in May 1962, they connected with women from the state, the country, and the world to support charities, families, and inter-national issues. The clubs’ outreach evolves yearly based on current needs.

A few of the charities that are supported include The Russell Home, Rescue Outreach Mission, Take stock in Children, New Hope for Kids, Honor Flight, and Kids House Seminole.

Because of our affiliation with GFWC we have supported other national and international charities including Canine Companions and Doctors without Boarders.

We are proud to be affiliated with the GFWC and to be part of “the little things that create the differences” in the world.
