Our History
In March 1962, visionary women of Lake Mary, FL, met to form the GFWC Lake Mary Woman’s Club to improve their town. By joining the International General Federation of Women’s Clubs in May 1962, they connected with women from the state, the country, and the world to support charities, families, and inter-national issues.
The clubs’ outreach evolves yearly based on current needs.
A few of the charities that are supported include Russell Home, Kids House Seminole, New Hope for Kids, Rescue Outreach Mission, Flight to Honor, and Seminole State College.
We are proud to be affiliated with the GFWC and to be part of “the little things that create the differences” in the world.
